Chessboard NONA is a tactile and generous playing surface crafted from two layers of natural harness leather with precise stitching and waxed edges. The refined leather construction is intended to age beautifully with time and use. NONA is named in appreciation of the first woman to be awarded the International Grandmaster title in 1978.

The distinct outlines of NONA chess figures illustrate a decisive cut and minimum design intervention to create each character. Each figure is inspired by the moves it can make.
